Texture is the whole point
Where a classic set is uniform and a volume set is dense, a hybrid set is deliberately irregular — longer spikes of classic fibre rising out of a soft bed of two- and three-dimensional fans. It is the look most people mean when they show us a photo of “wispy lashes”.
Your artist mixes the ratio on the spot, usually 60% fans to 40% classics, adjusting for how dense your natural line already is. No two hybrid sets leaving our studio are identical, and that is precisely the appeal.

Hybrid sets photograph especially well — brides usually book a fresh set three to five days before the wedding so the adhesive has fully settled.
Before you book a hybrid set
- Is hybrid heavier than classic?
- Barely. The fans are made from ultra-fine 0.05mm fibres, so a three-fibre fan weighs about the same as one classic extension. Your natural lashes carry no extra strain.
- How do I choose between hybrid and Russian volume?
- If you want texture and a soft, feathered edge, choose hybrid. If you want uniform, dense, velvet fullness, go for Russian volume. Bring reference photos — they settle the question in seconds.
- Can you match a set another studio applied?
- Usually yes. Bring a close-up photo of the set at its best, and we will map to it. If the previous work bonded lashes together we will recommend removal first.
- How often will I need infills?
- Every two to three weeks. Hybrid infills take a little longer than classic ones because we rebuild the texture, not just the coverage.
